1636 Riesling Hochgewachs

Background: The house of Dr. Zenzen has since 1636 been wine growers in Germany. This family tradition of more than 380 years stands for great experience and exclusiveness concerning the quality of wines. The Einig-Zenzen family produces wine growin in the hills above the river Mosel in the small picturesque village of Valwig in the heart of the Mosel wine region.

1636-Our Heritage Line:

The 1636 label was commemorated for this important year in the Zenzen family. The date the family started in the wine business. Thirteen generations of Zenzen's have been producing wine since 1636. A very good year.

Grape variety: 100% Riesling

Tasting Note:

Crafted from specially selected grapes grown in Mosel, a region of rocky slopes where the sun hits almost vertically. The mild climate along the Mosel river offers the best ripening conditions for the Riesling grape which produces an elegant wine with ripe fruit aromas of peach and apricot. Gluten Free

Quality : QbA- Qualitatswein-Hochgewachs

A pure Riesling QbA –Higher quality. A wine that exceeds the quality requirements (hoch means high)
