🍑 Peaches are very delicate. Here is the best guide to keep them juicy and enjoy their flavor:

📦 Storage Tips – 3 Golden Rules

Before ripe: Do not refrigerate. Cold (below 4°C) damages fibers, makes peaches hard, stops sweetening, and may cause black spots.
How: If the bottom feels firm, keep the box at room temperature in a cool, airy place away from sunlight.

During ripening: Do not press with fingers. Pressure causes bruising and black marks.
How: When the skin turns creamy or pink and the peach smells fragrant, it is ripe.

After ripe: To extend freshness, wrap each peach in paper, place in a bag, and store in the fridge vegetable drawer (6–8°C).
Limit: Eat within 2–3 days.

🍽️ Best Way to Eat – 4 Steps

Golden 1 Hour Chill:

If stored at room temp: chill in fridge 1–2 hours before eating.
If stored in fridge: take out 30 minutes before eating.→ This keeps peaches slightly cool, juicy, and sweet.

Gentle Wash: Rinse under light water flow, rub softly with your palm to remove fuzz.

Easy Peeling:

Method A: Peel from the bottom toward the stem when fully ripe.
Method B: Cut an “X” on top, dip in hot water 10–15 sec, then ice water. Skin lifts off easily.

Proper Cutting: Slice along the groove around the pit, twist gently to separate, then cut into 4–6 wedges.
