Country of Origin: New Zealand　

Aotearoa is the Maori (indigenous people from New Zealand) name for the country of New Zealand, and literally means "Land of the long white cloud". The house is relatively new, and only released their first Sauvignon Blanc on the market in 2012. Since then, ratings have been steadily increasing as their expertise has increased. In 2020, the house made their first rose wine also made from Sauvignon Blanc with just a hint of Pinot Noir for color. Finally in 2022 they were ready to make their first red wine. We are lucky enough to have the entire series, and can recommend all 3!

The house's first wine, which has only gotten better with each vintage. Both the house white wine (this) and rose have received over 4 stars at Vivino in a short time, the house has become a huge success, and sells their wines all over the world

Grape variety: Pinot Noir

From New Zealand’s renowned Marlborough wine region, AOTEAROA Winery presents its first Pinot Noir released in 2022. With a ruby-red hue and a velvety smooth palate, it exudes aromas of cherry, strawberry, red currant, and blackberry, complemented by delicate spicy notes. Elegant tannins and a long finish highlight its remarkable complexity.

Perfectly paired with lamb, duck, or roasted vegetables, it brings refined flavor to any dining occasion.
