Due to its extreme difficulty in catching and limited yield, it is highly prized. The Spanish red shrimp paste is rich and aromatic, ten times more fragrant than ordinary shrimp. The shrimp meat is even sweeter, more refreshing, and elastic than lobster. It is unforgettable once tasted! You can savor the ultimate flavor of red shrimp by simply preparing sashimi or pan-frying it.

Processing method:

Spanish red shrimp should be placed in a sealed bag and rinsed with room temperature running water until thawed and softened, then consumed as sashimi. Do not use hot water.

In addition to enjoying it as sashimi, it can also be fried to enhance the rich flavor of shrimp paste. Some diners opt to steam it, but blanching is not recommended, as it can cause the meat to become moldy.

Furthermore, do not thaw at room temperature, as it will easily breed bacteria and cause the shrimp meat to become moldy. After thawing, it should be consumed on the same day as soon as possible. It cannot be left overnight or refrozen after thawing, as the shrimp paste will turn black.
