Celebrating the Masterpieces of the Abruzzo Winemaking School in 1960: Montepulciano DOC Riserva is a structurally complex wine. It's aged in French oak barrels for 12 months, macerated in concrete vats for 20 to 25 days, thus ferments under temperature control. It serves harmoniously with hearty meat dishes, granting it recognition among the industry year after year.

Grape variety: Montepulciano 100%

Types: Dry Red Wine

Tasting Note: Deep red color with brilliant purple shades; noticeable smell of berries, spices and chocolate; soft and persistent on the palate; tannins are present.

Food Pairing: Perfectly with important meat dishes, even with difficult flavors, such as boiled, braised, roasted and poultry. Excellent pairing with particularly aged cheeses, such as Abruzzo or Tuscan pecorino cheeses. Try it with the traditional Abruzzo Styled roast lamb.
