Description

This is a wine with distinctive personality, it carries the colour of plum, aromas of chocolate, and ripened fruit, with a lively yet greedy mouthfeel that is captivating. At the Château Figeac-Latour estate in the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation, 2 grapes variety could be found, Merlot, king of the Right Bank, and its faithful lieutenant, Cabernet Franc, which makes up around 20% of the cuvée. The average age of the vines is around 30 years, accounting for approximately 5 hectares of land. Located on the clay-limestone plateau that possesses all the renowned appellations of the region. After mechanical harvesting and sortings, the wine then undergoes traditional vinification in a temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, then age further in French oak barrels that uses one-third of new wood.

Origin: Saint Emilion Grand Cru, Bordeaux

Grape variety: Merlot and Cabernet Franc

Tasting note: Garnet color. Intense red berry and grilled aromas. Mouth with plump fruit, leather, roasted and spices. Rounded tannins and long after taste.
