Handling method:

Scarlet prawns can be kept in sealing bags, it can be rinsed until the meat softens at room temperature for sashimi serving. DO NOT use hot water instead.

Apart from serving as sashimi, pan-frying is also an excellent serving method that showcases the rich flavor of shrimp hepatopancreas. Some customers choose to steam the shrimp, yet boiling NOT recommended, otherwise the texture will spoil.

Moreover, defrosting under room temperature will lead to faster growth of bacteria, which spoils the shrimp. Consume as soon as possible once defrosted, overnight or freeze it again after defrost will lead to shrimp hepatopancreas turning dark in color.

Frozen Product - Keep frozen -18℃ or below before usage.
